Michael Jackson: Ben (1972)
La carrière solo de Michael Jackson commence chez Motown alors qu'il est memebre des Jackson Five. En 1971, il enregistre Got ot be there et recueille un succès qui incite son mentor Berry Gordy à poursuivre l'expérience. Ainsi, Michael sort coup sur coup Rockin'Robin, Aint't no sunshine, I wanna be wherer you are et Ben. Cette dernière chanson est n°1 outre-Atlantique en 1972.
